I think she spotted you, Donna. Great and very funny mamma!
Amazing! She wasn't to affraid, or was just busy? WOW, great shots!
The adults sit beside their burrow to protect it.
Sometimes when I pull up one will jump out of the hole. It is alot like a magic act.
They bob up and down as a threat and the young can make the sound of a rattle snake for protection.
