The Red Admiral is one of my favorites and we get it here in East Texas. I've seen the other one but can't remember what it's name is. I'll have to put out oranges for them as you have and get them to come closer. I have one flower bed I call my butterfly garden and plant things just for their enjoyment. I love your photos, Donna, and they are butterfly nectar to me!

WOW. Seeing them up close is awesome! (If you haven't clicked on them, you must.) Look at that, you can see their tongues! And I really really really dig their striped antenna.

I don't know what kind the one with the blue in its wings is, but using my handy garage sale insect book, the one with red strip is like Mom said, a Red Admiral and the other is a Question Mark.
