I got chills just looking at that wolf spider picture. Imagine you getting that close to take a shot!
You are right. I might have a time or dozen mistakenly called these spiders tarantulas.
Oh, I have done the same calling them tarantulas. And here lately we have seen one at least every other day. Today being one of the days that we have.
I think they do/can/could bite but they are not harmful.
