This must be a young robin with the speckles on his breast. Even around home it takes a lot of patience to photograph birds.
I have never seen (or noticed) a juvenile robin before. Look at that speckled chest, cute!
What's the deal with robins this year? I remember seeing them very rarely in years past, and then only in the fall (unlike the North where robins are part of the Spring rite).
